Description

FoleyShald is looking for Project Engineers who will play an integral role in successful completion of infrastructure and land development projects.

Through active project involvement, the Project Engineer will work with other engineers and technicians to complete engineering studies and designs, drawings, layouts, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software. Work can also entail field investigations and construction administration tasks. We are interested in a motivated individual capable of taking on multiple responsibilities as a team player.

Must regularly demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and instill confidence in clients, colleagues, and coworkers.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is viewed as an active engineering role involving planning, design, construction administration, oversight, management, and direct involvement in the following areas:

  • Planning and technical analysis
  • Technical writing
  • Design using Autocad Civil3D.
  • Opinions of probable construction cost
  • Construction administration
  • Collaborate and coordinate with company leaders and peers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 0-5 years of civil engineering experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client meetings, on-site inspections, and job site visits, etc.
  • Autocad Civil3D skills
Working Conditions
The assignment will require occasional evening and weekend work and working in collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment. It may include out-of-town work assignments.
Physical Requirements
The assignment may occasionally require walking, standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, extended travel, using shovels and hammers, and carrying equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
