Master Planning
FoleyShald believes the initial evaluation of a property for potential development is among the most critical in terms of leading to a successful project. We work closely with developers, government agencies, and others to create marketable projects for our clients. The evaluation of a property will typically include analyzing regulatory constraints, existing and potential utility connections, site access locations and restrictions, flood plain and jurisdictional waters issues, easements and other property characteristics. With this base our team creates the alternative concepts and feasibility cost studies needed to evaluate properties for development.
Land Development
We work with clients to develop tracts of land into residential, commercial, and mixed use communities. This includes feasibility studies, zoning, platting, infrastructure design, and construction administration. We work with the clients from the concept stage through construction, to make the clients vision a reality. We always keep financial and environmental constraints associated with the land development process in mind and work toward creating the best possible project for the community.
Site Development
FoleyShald Engineering provides management, design, permitting, and construction administration for commercial and institutional buildings, and residential apartment projects. This includes site layout, grading design, infrastructure design, and stormwater management. We work with architects, landscape architects, and other engineering disciplines to provide our clients with complete solutions.
Drainage and Stormwater Management
All projects require the management and treatment of stormwater and our team has the expertise to create grading and drainage plans which incorporate the facilities into the development. Planning for drainage facilities from the beginning of the site development process allows for opportunities to make them an amenity rather than an afterthought. We have experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stream stabilization, storm sewer outfall stabilization, floodplain analysis, stormwater detention design, erosion control design, and NPDES Permitting and Inspections.
Construction Administration
FoleyShald Engineering provides a full range of construction administration services. We take pride in carrying designs through construction and providing clients with projects that are on time and on budget. Our services during construction include construction observation, coordination of material testing, reviewing shop drawings, preparing change orders and payment applications, and reporting and documentation.
SID Maintenance
FoleyShald Engineering works with Sanitary & Improvement Districts (SID) in Nebraska to efficiently manage and maintain infrastructure. Services for District can include the maintenance of streets, stormwater detention areas and channels, sanitary sewers and green areas.
